AG Hotels Group – Bluewaters Hotel

Brief : New fascia sign required that will complement the recent redecoration of the front of the building

Recommendation : The client felt they would like illuminated raised letters on their sign so we after a detailed discussion and a few samples looked at we opted to go for a tray that had 50mm deep returns and letters that were 30mm deep, had opal polycarb backtrays and were installed on stand off locators so that when illuminated by the internal 6500K cool white Sloan VL4 mini LED’s you will see a stunning halo illumination around each letter. The light from the letters always bounces off a white surface best aswel.

Being on Blackpool seafront we had to ensure that 316 Grade stainless steel was used for both the letters and the tray, this is to ensure the salt air does not attack the metal work and make it rust. Once the letters and tray were cut they were then powder coated to white and a specific Blue that ties in with the AG Hotels group branding guidelines.

We feel the sign stands out so nicely against the rich blue paint that had been chosen for the front of the building, its certainly one that catches the eye of passing traffic.
