Background
Seniors Fish and Chips is a family run chain of eight fish and chip shops on the Fylde Coast. They are renowned locally for their consistent quality.
Seniors’ use sustainably caught fish and source it locally. They use potatoes grown in the area to produce their chips, and they’ve designed all their shops with customer comfort and convenience front of mind.
Before we got to know Alastair, the owner of the chain, he was using a local sign company in Blackpool. Then, when they ceased trading, he needed to find a new signage partner who could not only produce and install his signage, but could manage what he required and react quickly. Thankfully, he found us here at Links.
The Project
Given Seniors’ reputation of consistent quality, they needed signage to match what the brand stands for.
We have now worked with Alastair for a few months and in that time we’ve updated all of the internal shop boards with various offers and information.
Every shop now has the same sized panels so that when offers change, whether it be price or other detail, it’s an easy process for us to print the new artwork and update the boards in all their shops quickly.
In years gone by all the shops had different sized signage meaning it was always a cumbersome process working out which shop needed which sizes. This frequently lead to frustration and delays.
It was important for us to not only improve the signage at Seniors, but to overhaul processes too.

Next up we will be working on updating the exterior signage at each Seniors shop to make sure everything is on brand and looking professional.
